The Meinl ADJ2-XL is an extra large djembe from the Water Rhythm series. This brown hand percussion instrument is carved from a solid piece of mahogany that was grown on a special plantation. Furthermore, its 13-inch drumhead is made of hand-selected goatskin, to give it a warmer sound. That drumhead has been traditionally pre-stretched with HTP nylon cord, by ways of the Mali Weave Tuning System. This system guarantees that your drum will stay in tune for a long, long time.

The foot of the ADJ2-XL is decorated with beautiful carvings that are reminiscent of the waves in the sea. Finally, to make sure that you can safely take your djembe with you on the go, Meinl has even thrown in a professional djembe bag.
